Monveo

Terms of Use

Last updated June 30, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Monveo, including the Monveo mobile app, website, AI features, subscriptions, shared Spaces, cloud sync, notifications, and related services.

By using Monveo, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Monveo.

About Monveo

Monveo is a personal finance tracking app that helps users record transactions, scan receipts, create transaction drafts from voice notes, track wallets and money sources, manage budgets, monitor goals, track assets and liabilities, view net worth, set reminders, export or import CSV files, and understand financial activity.

Monveo is a tracking and organization tool. Monveo is not a bank, wallet provider, payment processor, investment platform, tax advisor, legal advisor, accountant, or licensed financial advisor. Monveo does not move money, hold funds, make payments, or connect directly to your bank account unless a specific feature clearly says otherwise.

Eligibility

You may use Monveo only if you are legally allowed to use digital services and manage a personal finance account in your country or region.

If you use Monveo on behalf of another person, household, business, or organization, you confirm that you have permission to do so and that you are responsible for the information you add.

Accounts and Login

Some features may require an account. You may sign in using supported login providers such as Google or Apple.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your login provider, keeping your device and account secure, and all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact Monveo as soon as possible.

Monveo may allow limited use without signing in. Local-only or guest use may not provide the same sync, backup, recovery, sharing, subscription, or account features as signed-in use.

Local Data and Cloud Sync

Monveo may store data locally on your device. If you sign in, enable sync, join a shared Space, use certain AI features, enable notifications, or use subscription features, some data may be processed or stored through Monveo's cloud services and third-party providers.

You are responsible for keeping your own records and backups where needed. Monveo tries to keep sync reliable, but data loss, sync delay, conflicts, device loss, user deletion, app bugs, third-party outages, or network issues may occur.

Shared Spaces

Monveo may allow users to create or join shared Spaces. A shared Space lets multiple members access the same financial workspace.

If you create, invite members to, or join a shared Space, you understand that data inside that Space may be visible to other members. This may include transactions, wallets, receipt images, notes, tags, goals, reminders, budgets, Space names, avatars, and member activity.

Only invite people you trust. You are responsible for the information you add to a shared Space and for making sure you have permission to share it. Space owners may have additional controls, such as inviting members, removing members, editing Space settings, or deleting the Space.

Monveo is not responsible for disputes between Space members or for how members use information they are allowed to access inside a shared Space.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use Monveo lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Use Monveo for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or unauthorized activity.
  • Upload or share content that you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to access another user's account, Space, data, systems, or private files without permission.
  • Interfere with Monveo's security, infrastructure, rate limits, authentication, storage, billing, or AI systems.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, abuse, or disrupt the app or backend services.
  • Upload malware, harmful files, misleading information, or content that violates another person's rights.
  • Use AI features to process content that is illegal or that you are not allowed to submit.

By adding data to Monveo, you confirm that the information is yours or that you have permission to use it.

Financial Disclaimer

Monveo provides tools for recording, organizing, and reviewing personal financial information. Monveo does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, insurance, or professional advice.

Charts, summaries, budgets, reminders, net worth views, category suggestions, AI results, and insights are for informational purposes only. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or based on data you entered incorrectly.

You are responsible for your financial decisions. You should consult qualified professionals before making important financial, tax, legal, investment, or business decisions.

AI Features

Monveo may provide AI-assisted features, including voice transcription, receipt scanning, payment screenshot extraction, transaction draft creation, smart categorization, wallet or source suggestions, and financial summaries.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete, duplicated, misclassified, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and confirming AI-generated results before relying on them or saving them.

AI features may be subject to usage limits, free credits, guest credits, Pro plan access, rate limits, technical restrictions, or fair use controls. Monveo may change, pause, limit, or remove AI features at any time.

Using AI features may require sending relevant input to Monveo's backend and AI service providers, such as receipt images, screenshots, audio, transcripts, OCR text, transaction context, categories, wallet names, locale, and timezone. More details are explained in the Privacy Policy.

Receipts, Files, and Imports

Monveo may let you upload or attach receipt images, payment screenshots, avatar images, CSV files, and other supported files.

You are responsible for making sure files you upload are accurate, lawful, safe, and yours to use. Monveo may reject, resize, compress, process, store, or delete files where needed to operate the service, maintain security, enforce limits, or comply with law.

CSV import and export features are provided for convenience. You are responsible for checking imported and exported data for accuracy.

Notifications and Reminders

Monveo may provide reminders, daily reminders, weekly insights, monthly insights, and other notifications if you enable them.

Notifications may be delayed, missed, duplicated, or unavailable due to device settings, operating system restrictions, network issues, third-party services, or app configuration. You should not rely on Monveo notifications for urgent, legal, financial, medical, safety, or time-critical obligations.

Subscriptions and Pro Plan

Monveo may offer paid features through a Pro plan or other subscription options. Pricing, billing period, included features, trial availability, renewal rules, and cancellation options are shown before purchase in the app or through the relevant app store or payment provider.

Subscriptions may be managed by Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or another payment provider. Your purchase may also be subject to the terms, refund rules, and billing policies of the platform where you subscribed.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. You are responsible for canceling before renewal if you do not want to continue. Deleting the app may not cancel your subscription.

Access to Pro features may end if payment fails, your subscription expires, the subscription is canceled, the payment provider cannot verify your entitlement, or Monveo reasonably determines that the subscription is being misused.

Refunds are handled according to the rules of the platform or payment provider used for purchase, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Free Features, Trials, Credits, and Promotions

Monveo may offer free features, free AI credits, guest credits, trials, discounts, referral rewards, or promotional offers.

Monveo may change, limit, revoke, or end free features, credits, trials, or promotions at any time, especially in cases of abuse, technical issues, fraud, duplicate accounts, platform restrictions, or business changes.

Promotional offers may have additional conditions and may not be transferable, exchangeable, refundable, or redeemable for cash unless required by law.

User Content and License

You keep ownership of the financial records, images, notes, files, and other content you add to Monveo.

You grant Monveo a limited permission to host, store, process, transmit, display, analyze, transform, and use your content only as needed to operate, provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve Monveo, including sync, shared Spaces, AI features, backups, troubleshooting, and customer support.

This permission continues for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or maintain backups.

Privacy

Your use of Monveo is also governed by the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information Monveo collects, how it is used, how it may be shared, and your choices.

Third-Party Services

Monveo relies on third-party services for functions such as authentication, cloud storage, database hosting, AI processing, push notifications, subscriptions, payments, app distribution, diagnostics, and infrastructure.

These third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Monveo is not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, billing decisions, account restrictions, or data handling outside Monveo's reasonable control.

Service Changes and Availability

Monveo may update, add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features at any time. This includes free features, Pro features, AI features, sync behavior, notification behavior, shared Space limits, usage limits, supported platforms, and app design.

Monveo may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, bugs, security incidents, network problems, third-party outages, platform restrictions, or events outside Monveo's control.

Monveo does not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free.

Beta and Experimental Features

Some features may be experimental, unfinished, or in testing. These features may change, fail, produce incorrect results, or be removed without notice.

You should review important information carefully and avoid relying on beta or experimental features for critical decisions.

Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Monveo at any time.

Monveo may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the app, account, Space, subscription features, or AI features if Monveo reasonably believes that you violated these Terms, created risk, misused the service, attempted unauthorized access, abused free credits or subscriptions, violated law, or caused harm to Monveo, users, third-party providers, or the public.

After termination, some information may be retained where needed for legal, security, billing, backup, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Deletion Requests

You may request account or data deletion by contacting Monveo. Some data can also be deleted directly in the app.

Deletion may not immediately remove all copies from backups, logs, third-party provider systems, app store billing records, or shared Spaces. Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, billing, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Intellectual Property

Monveo, including its name, logo, design, interface, software, features, text, graphics, branding, and related materials, is owned by Monveo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Monveo unless allowed by law or with written permission.

Feedback

If you send feedback, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, or suggestions, you allow Monveo to use them without restriction or compensation. Monveo is not required to implement or keep your feedback confidential.

Disclaimers

Monveo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, Monveo makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or that the service will meet your expectations.

Monveo does not guarantee that financial data, AI output, reminders, sync, subscriptions, shared Spaces, charts, exports, imports, or notifications will always be accurate, complete, timely, secure, or available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Monveo and its owners, developers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business, financial losses, investment losses, tax consequences, missed reminders, AI errors, sync issues, subscription issues, or unauthorized account access outside Monveo's reasonable control.

Monveo is not responsible for decisions you make based on information in the app, data you enter incorrectly, content shared with Space members, third-party service failures, device issues, app store decisions, payment provider decisions, or events outside Monveo's reasonable control.

Where liability cannot be excluded, Monveo's liability will be limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Monveo from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Monveo, your content, your violation of these Terms, your misuse of shared Spaces, your violation of law, or your infringement of another person's rights.

Changes to These Terms

Monveo may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, Monveo may provide notice through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.

The updated Terms will be identified by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Monveo after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a dispute arises, the parties will first try to resolve it informally by contacting Monveo.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region.
